Why not share your party with another child who has a birthday close to yours

Do food boxes or plates already made up as this saves on food

If you are having disco style entertainment, you can cut back on decorations

Have sweet filled party bags or give children a small inexpensive wrapped gift 

Hold your party for a smaller number of children and have the party at home

If you are hiring a venue, shop around for the best priced halls.  Halls can vary in price from £2.50 per hour upto £50 per hour.

Buying plain coloured tableware is cheaper than themed tableware or mix and match

Shop around for entertainers.  Check to see what they include in their packages for example not all entertainers provide pass the parcels and prizes.

Please remember that cheaper is not always better.  Always ask lots of questions and go with your gut feeling.
